CA State Spelling Bee
The California State Spelling Bee brings together the best spelling champions from counties across the state to the San Joaquin County Office of Education in Stockton. This competition will be held at the end of April. Students that attend the California State Spelling Bee have competed at their school, district, and county level to qualify for the State Competition. Students who compete have qualified for one of two grade levels- elementary division for 4th-6th grade and junior high division for 7th – 9th grades. All competitors from both divisions will have been certified county champions by their home county's superintendent of schools. The winner for each division will receive a championship trophy. Each division runner-up also receives a trophy.
